The name “Mair am Turm” is first recorded in historical documents as early as 1420. The administrative centers of the counts of Tyrol, known as the “Mair-Höfe” or “Moar”, focused primarily on the collection of taxes and tythes.
This traditional establishment in the centre of Dorf Tirol is nowadays home to a modern hotel near Meran, offering guests all they could wish for in terms of amenities, comfort and service. In particular there are comfortable rooms and a welcoming terrace with views of Meran and the valley of the River Etsch.
Our hotel is ideal for those wishing to indulge themselves on holiday while discovering the natural landscape and environment around Meran with various hikes and excursions.
